Gmail for Android Gets Rich Text Formatting, 'Instant' RSVPs
Google on Wednesday introduced two new features for its Gmail app for Android to help you more easily manage your inbox when you lot're out and about: rich text formatting and something chosen instant RSVPs.
With rich text formatting, you lot tin at present add bold, italic, underlined, colored, and/or highlighted text to your message, right from the Gmail app. "These new options are great for making a indicate or emphasizing what'south important," Google Product Manager Matthew Izatt wrote in a blog post Midweek.

At this point, more than two-thirds of all Gmail users check email with their phones, then "having a really amazing mobile experience is more than important than ever," he added.
On that front, Google last week released a tool called Gmailify, which lets you link an existing Microsoft Outlook, Hotmail, or Yahoo Post account to Gmail so yous get "all the bells and whistles" of its email service without ditching your electric current accost. Those perks include Google's avant-garde spam detection and blocking, a tabbed inbox that organizes your mail service into groups, and Google Now cards that telephone call out things like travel and hotel reservations based on your mail.
